The City Skyline



Study the skyline of Minneapolis.  
Learn to identify each building.  
Create your own cityscape on canvas.
This class includes a trip to Mia.

Sunday, April 15
Yellow Umbrella



Based on the book by the same name and
while using the corresponding music associated,
students will create watercolor pieces
with an emphasis on the study of Wassily Kandinsky.
Kandinsky's abstract work was inspired by music.

Sunday, April 22
Reduse, Reuse, Recyle

Keeping Earth Day in mind with a focus on REUSE,
students will have the choice of three thrift store items
 (dishes, figurines, wood) to paint.  
There will also be demonstrations on how one can 
turn junk mail into a painting or drawing surface.

Saturday, May 12
Happy Mother's Day



Choose one session for Mothers to create with their children.

session 1:  10:30 - 11:30
session 2: 12:30- 1:30
session 3:  2:15 - 3:15
$20 creative pair with $5 for each additional participant

As a side note: I would love to do something similar with fathers too.

This class has become a tradition every year
and is in honor of Children's Day (May 5) in Japan
where they celebrate with Koinobori (or carp streamers)
