sketching at the MIA, WEEKDAY WORKSHOP, summer 2014

There is a WEEKDAY WORKSHOP on the books for July.  These workshops include 2 art making activities, a trip to the MIA to sketch, time at the MCAD sculpture garden and a picnic snack. WEEKDAY WORKSHOPS are $65 each

Study the artist, Ellsworth Kelly and his plant drawings.  Create variations of plant drawings using a wide variety of materials.  Nature walk, outdoor sketching and snack picnic.

visiting artist, Cami Applequist's work

On Saturday afternoon, July 18 from 2:30 - 5:30, we will be creating Chicken ART!  Visiting artist, Cami Applequist, will show and tell about her work.  If you've played mini golf at the Walker this summer (or last), perhaps her name rings a bell?  One of her pieces is on exhibit!  I will also have a live chicken (an art student's pet) visiting the classroom.  This class is $55.  There must be a minimum of eight students enrolled.
